According to recent newspaper reports, recently-engaged Robbie Williams is set to marry long-term girlfriend Ayda Field on the most romantic day of the year – Valentine’s Day.

That source of reliable news, The Daily Star, reported: “Robbie doesn’t want to have a long, drawn-out engagement. When he gets something in his head, there’s no stopping him. He’s asked all his friends and family to keep the entire week free leading up to February 14, so they can have a week-long celebration before Valentine’s Day.”

35-year-old Robbie has been looking around for wedding venues, and is planning on a ceremony taking place in Santa Barbara, California. No firm venue has been set yet, but the former Take That star had better get his skates on as time is running out! A host of celebrities are set to attend, including his old band mates – Gary, Jason, Howard and Mark – and stars of both film and music old and new.

Jonathan Wilkes, Robbie Williams best friend, is set to be best man at the event, and there are rumours that Take That will perform a special set just for the newly wedded couple. Other rumours going around are that Jay Z is to perform at the wedding and there may possibly be a collaboration with his wife, Beyonce.

He told The Sun newspaper: “I don’t know what Robbie’s entertainment plans are but, as a wedding present, I would get up after the speeches and do a little set.”
