Known for her extravagancies, Katie Price is bucking the trend when it comes to her wedding to Alex Reid amid reports that she is looking to save money and opt for a cut-price budget wedding instead …and there we were thinking that she only used the concept of marriage as a money-spinner to sell to the nearest magazine!

The couple originally married in a top secret private ceremony in Las Vegas, but because there were certain issues over the legality of the marriage, Katie and Alex have decided to tie the knot here next week. However, a source close to the couple told The Sunday Mirror, “If the theme of her wedding to Peter was no expense spared, it’s safe to say this time round it’s more like make do and mend. If there’s something that she can haggle over, get at a knock-down price or better still for free then she will. If she’s not careful she’ll get the nickname Katie cut-Price.”

Her ITV2 camera crew will be on hand to film all of the events of the big day, and rumours have it that there are not a lot of actual celebrities attending. Apparently many of her invitations have fallen upon deaf ears and she has had to cope with a host of rejections. Shock horror, can this really be true? Is this the same Katie Price who organised the celeb-fest that was her wedding to Peter Andre? With only a week to go, we won’t have long to wait before we find out who has been invited and who hasn’t…
