The latest twist in the Katie Price tale was revealed this week when headlines appeared in the Sunday papers and gossip columns exposed the truth behind her Las Vegas wedding at the lavish Wynn Hotel. Apparently, the reverend who married the couple in the secret ceremony has had his license revoked, meaning that the marriage is not valid!

This could in fact be good news for the former glamour model, as the news also broke that the couple are on the verge of breaking up less than a month after tying the knot together. This means that if a divorce is on the cards, she has potentially saved herself millions in a settlement agreement.

The reverend who conducted the ceremony told the News of the World when told that he is not qualified to marry couples any longer “You’ve got to be kidding me. This is something I need to straighten out.” The problems started when he quit the Lutheran church in Wisconsin and since moving the Lad Vegas he does not have the relevant license needed to conduct weddings there.

Is anything ever simple for Katie Price? Plainly not, judging by this latest news. Maybe ‘quickie’ weddings in Las Vegas are not such a great idea after all… well at least they aren’t if performed by this particular reverend. Couples be warned!
