We couldn’t write this week’s wedding blog without mentioning the surprise wedding of the week – Katie Price (aka Jordan) and Alex Reid have got married in Las Vegas. Classy.

Despite announcing live on air that they had split up after she left I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, the couple were soon back together again. At first the public did not like Alex, particularly because he had replaced Peter Andre in Katie’s life and because of his bad habit of telling the press the most outrageous statements. However, he won the public over when he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, and almost as soon as he had declared his love for Katie as he was being interviewed after the show, he was jetting off to Las Vegas for a wedding.

Whilst it came as a surprise to everyone, including their close family, the good (?) news is that Katie’s ITV2 camera crew were there to film every moment of it for her ‘What Katie Did Next…’ series. Well thank god for that then. Rumour has it they happy couple promptly got married, then headed straight for a strip joint to celebrate the news. Each to their own I suppose…!
